The WV STEM Scholarship is a student financial aid program designed to enable and encourage academically talented individuals to pursue careers in the fields of engineering, science, and technology in West Virginia.
Apply for the WV STEM Scholarship
The application opens annually October 1 and must be completed by the March 1 deadline. Students must apply every year to be considered.
Students are typically notified about their eligibility in April.
*If you do not have a WVSAM Account, you will need to create one. After creating the account, you will be sent an email (may be in your junk/spam) with a link to create your password then to log in. Once logged in, navigate to the My Applications section, click New and select WV STEM Scholarship then hit Next.
How It Works
Scholarships up to $3,000 per academic year are awarded based on academic qualifications and interest in the fields of engineering, science, and technology.
Priority is given to West Virginia residents.
