Community Service

Applicants for Promise Scholarship awards are strongly encouraged to perform at least 20 hours of unpaid community service while in high school and college.

The community service may include, but is not limited to, participating with non-profit, governmental, institutional or community-based organizations designed to improve the quality of life for community residents, meet the needs of community residents or foster civic responsibility.
