Community Service

Students who receive a WV Invests Grant award must complete two hours of community service every term an award is received.

Students who receive the WV Invests Grant must complete two hours of community service approved by the institution during the term in which funds are received.

The community service must be completed during the term. Hours completed before the first day of the term or after the last day of the term will not be accepted by the institution.

Students may use the WV Invests Grant Community Service Form to document their activity and must submit the completed form or other documentation of completion to the financial aid office at the institution.


Failure to complete two hours of approved community service during the term will result in loss of the award.

It is recommended students get prior approval from the institution the intended activity with fulfill the community service requirement. See institutional contacts below.
